Vital Information about the LA County Fair
More important than anything else, you’re probably wondering when the fair begins, when it ends, and how much ticket prices are going to be. Because without this information, it will be hard for you to plan your trips to the fair.
To help you out, first off we want you to know that the LA County Fair begins on August 31 and ends on September 23. So you have 24 days to enjoy this exciting event, which is really great because it helps break up the monotony of life and it gives you a chance to do something fun and different for more than three weeks right in your own backyard. It’s also important to know that the fair is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during this stretch with the exception of Labor Day, which obviously falls on a Monday.
As far as ticket prices go, the prices vary quite a bit but we will fill you in on all of the details as best we can.
Regular adults must pay $20 per person on Labor Day weekend. Regular adult admission on a weekday is $14 per person and if you buy your tickets now, you can go any weekday that the fair is around. An adult single day admission ticket is $20 and it’s valid for any day that the LA County Fair is around during 2018, but you’d be much better off using this ticket on the weekend as opposed to a weekday since it is cheaper to pay weekday admission.
Children between the ages of 6 to 12 only have to pay $12 for a single day admission that is valid for one day on the weekdays or the weekend. Children between 6 to 12 can pay the weekday admission fee of $8 per person if they plan to attend the event on a weekday, like Monday through Friday.
Senior citizens 60 years of age or older must pay $15 for a single day admission that is valid on both weekdays and the weekend. For strictly weekdays, senior citizens 60 years or older only have to pay $10 for this admission fee.
The Passport to Savings Coupon Book has over 100 coupons in it valued more than $1000. To get access to this valuable coupon book, you’ll only have to pay $4 in total.
For the lucky individuals who plan to go to the fair over and over again, a Season Pass admission is $29.99. This pass is valid from August 31 through September 21 with blackout dates on September 22 and September 23. This is an excellent deal if you plan to be here more than once.
Finally, Single Day Parking at the LA County Fair will cost $15. To buy a Parking Season Pass, you’ll only have to pay the low rate of $60 in total.
